Every website or TV channel has only one thing to say eat more green and colored vegetables and avoid carbohydrate food to stay fit and live longer. But the question is how true or valid is this argument? Almost every fitness professional would ask you to stay away from everything that comes under the ‘White Foods’ category since it has a heavy glycemic load. But in reality they are far from the actual facts about it. It is very true that white bread and any food containing refined white sugar and flour are extremely bad for our body, refinansiering but not all white carbohydrates. The current trend is to avoid white carbs and having a lot of colored vegetables. This is a completely ridiculous teaching that is going around.
