“My work has involved several media, from pastels, to oils, pen and ink, and acrylic. I challenge myself through change and experience. By using deerskin in lieu of canvas or paper I strive to portray the essence of the animals through creative interpretation. First I photograph or sketch an animal, then change into an original work using reference materials collected through the years. The finished work becomes a composite of photo, reference material and experiences.”
“My daughter, Boni’s work adds to the feeling of strength and beauty with a taste of mysticism.”
